The Forge, Largs has operated as a traditional forge and blacksmiths, serving the needs of the community of Largs and the surrounding area, however, customer demand has led Paul into more creative work and The Forge is now involved in many different aspects of metal manipulation and manufacturing with applications which include:

- Bespoke new parts created from samples or drawings

The success of The Forge, Largs, is due to an honest and open commitment, to complete work on time and on budget and this commitment takes The Forge into its fourth decade of continuous work.
The Forge, Largs are happy to consult with clients, offering advice and assistance in solving any issue the client may face and on occasion, can quickly and inexpensively find a solution, saving long, expensive shutdowns while parts or objects are ordered. Paul's skills in retooling and restoration often mean components which would otherwise be scrapped can be fully restored to working order.
