Traditionally, a large part (approximately 50%) of the work of The Forge, Largs has been in the production of decorative or protective fencing, railings and automatic gates. All this work is undertaken on a bespoke basis and made to order for each client to an exact specification.

The Forge staff is happy to discuss your requirements and suggest designs, or work with you to create a unique design that will complement and improve your property. BALLUSTRADES.

Glass railings, balustrades and balconies are another regular feature of the workload of The Forge, Largs. These can be made of steel or aluminium and glass can be clear, opaque or patterned.

Glass is the perfect product for use in this type of structure and is adaptable to a multitude of applications. It is strong and durable, strong enough to resist impact and stresses and does not impede views from balconies. Aesthetically it blends and complements most materials and can be cut and shaped to almost any pattern desired, making it an ideal substance for modern architecture.
